Dental Implants

Implants are essentially titanium screws placed in the jaw bone which act as a false root to support a crown, bridge or denture. Dental implants are expensive and do not necessarily give the best cosmetic result – you should be advised of the limitations and benefits of implants when a missing tooth is assessed to be replaced.
